Kyudo was engaged by one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds. The client is an industry fund whose administration is outsourced to a third party. The fund was experiencing poor quality service from its administrator and was uncertain if appointing an alternative provider could improve this situation.

The problem
The executive and operational teams did not have a current knowledge of administration technologies, service providers, costs to serve and changes to operating models that could be relevant to them. Without this knowledge, strategic planning had stalled.
